How to identify the quality of PE stretch film?
In recent years, the application of PE stretch film in product packaging has become more and more extensive, so the number of consumers buying is also increasing. PE stretch film is a new generation of environmentally friendly packaging materials used. There are more and more pe stretch film manufacturers, and the pe stretch film materials used by enterprises in the competition are different. They will inevitably encounter some quality problems. We can identify the quality of PE stretch film through the following aspects.
1. Look at the transparency and measure the tensile strength:
First, pull it apart from the length direction of the pe stretched film, and then pull it apart from the horizontal direction. A stretched film with good stretchability has a strong impact force. The stretch rate of pe stretch film with good quality can reach 100%-300%.
The casting production method has developed from single-layer to two-layer and three-layer. Now the casting method is mainly used to produce LLDPE stretched films. In the early days, LLDPE stretched films were mostly blown films. This is because the casting line has the advantages of uniform thickness and high transparency, which can be applied to the requirements of high-magnification pre-stretching.
The application field is limited since single-layer casting cannot achieve single-sided adhesion. Single-layer and double-layer casting are not as extensive as three-layer casting in terms of material selection. The formula interest is also high, so using a three-layer co-extrusion structure is better. A high-quality PE stretch film should have high transparency, high longitudinal elongation, high yield point, high transverse tear strength, and good puncture performance.
2. Measure the thickness, see if there are tiny particles in the film, and measure the tensile force:
Crystal point is a standard quality problem of pe stretched film materials, depending on whether there are particles on the surface of the pe stretched film. Crystal points refer to the small pits on the surface of the PE stretch film material, which are also called bright spots. They are mainly common on the three-layer PE stretch film material. The main reason is that the silica gel is used for synthesis, and the silica gel has fluidity. When the surface of the stretched film material encounters the extrusion of some small particles, crystal points will be formed. The best way to avoid the crystal points is to protect the surface of the stretched film.
Therefore, due to the low threshold of the pe stretch film industry, there are also a lot of indiscriminate refills, and there are more and more stretch film factory on the market. But the pe stretch film material is also different; please keep your eyes open, and don't just buy the customized stretch film blindly.
